Rare Generic Hero Shards

Generic shards used by eligible Rare heroes.

A Rare Generic Hero Shard can replace one hero-specific shard when ascending an eligible Rare hero already owned by the player. It cannot unlock an unowned hero or be used for Epic or Legendary heroes.
